A Servant Pilgrim walks village to village around the world, encountering people where they live to build trust among strangers—the foundation of peace.
Become part of the journey!
Ann is a life-dedicated mendicant pilgrim, consecrated in the Society of Servant Pilgrims. Called to the life of a Servant Pilgrim, she denounced material possessions in order to be completely committed to walking in the age-old tradition of ascetic saints. She relies on the generosity of others and only requests what is necessary to meet real-time needs. She organizes and accompanies small groups of pilgrims during the year but does not charge for these services.
The costs of pilgrimage are modest but essential. The most routine expenses include transit—airfare, train fare, or loyalty points on major airlines and rail services. Boots wear down, soles need replacing, and occasional pre- and post-pilgrimage retreats provide vital time for reflection. From time to time, other specific needs arise, and benefactors willing to support them are deeply appreciated.
By assisting with these needs, you directly participate in the mission of the Society of Servant Pilgrims - encountering humanity, building trust, and spreading peace. Every act of generosity, no matter how small, is received with profound gratitude. Even the gesture of the widow’s mite is a blessing. I am deeply thankful not only for the support that sustains my journey but for the privilege of living this life, walking in faith, and witnessing the kindness of others. Your generosity—whether a gift, a prayer, or an encouraging word—becomes part of the pilgrimage, carried forward in every step, every encounter, and every moment of grace.
